Day 2 & Day 8 Testing – Travel Pack

You must take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 after you arrive.

You do not need to quarantine unless the test result is positive.

*Tests are either booked as face to face appointments, or you can order home test kits through our postal service.*

Test prices start from £90

Results are provided via email next day if tested at Newcastle Airport

Results are provided by email within 48 hours from receipt at the labs if tested at Leeds Bradford Airport or you order home tests – Samples are couriered twice daily.

Day 2 tests are non-refundable

Arrivals from Amber List Countries

Currently, you must quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days.

You must take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8.

From Monday 19 July, depending on your country of departure, people who have been fully vaccinated with an NHS vaccine, will not need to quarantine on arrival in England or take a PCR test on day 8.

  • If you’re planning to use the Test to Release scheme, you must still take a test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8, unless you’re exempt.
  • Your results will be emailed to the email address you used when you booked/ordered your appointments.

Please NOTE: You will require your 12 digit ‘Booking Reference Number’ to complete your passenger locator form, therefore, please book your appointments first. Once you have completed your passenger locator form, you must go back into your appointment booking via your confirmation email and enter your passenger locator form reference number.

The passenger locator form must capture the details of where you will quarantine when you arrive in the UK and your Booking Reference Number.
