We promise to keep you all updated through our newsletter.
It is hard to believe another year has passed by and we are celebrating Christmas once more. 2019 is set to be another exciting year with lots of exciting opportunities and developments.
On behalf of all the full team at Newcastle Premier Health, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & Healthy New Year.
Health & Safety 2017/18
As many of you will know, the Health and Safety Executive publish annual statistics on health and safety in Great Britain – and the results may come as a big surprise. Most alarmingly, the Health and Safety Executive report that 30.7 million working days were lost due to work-related ill health and non-fatal workplace injuries in 2017/18.
It is estimated that the annual cost in Britain alone for work-related injury and new cases of ill health is more than 15 billion. Newcastle Premier Health understand that businesses are under increasing pressure to maximise productivity and reduce costs, with sickness absence and work-related stress being a major obstacle.
So, how can we help? We believe that our Occupational Health service is not only a prudent option but helps to bring demonstrable cost benefits for your business and improves the health outcomes for your employees.
A breakthrough in bipolar disorder treatment could change the lives of millions.
The Chronicle recently picked up on this breakthrough and published an article all about the work of The London Psychiatry Centre and the service which are available to people in the North East via our Regent Centre clinic.
