It is hard to believe that we are halfway through 2018 already… As the saying goes, ‘time flies when you’re having fun’ and we think that you will all agree that time goes even faster when you’re having fun and working hard!
As we move into June, brighter days are ahead, and it is an exciting time for everybody connected with Newcastle Premier Health – including our clients and suppliers. We are closing in on some truly exciting opportunities and we are working hard to refine processes.

Mental Health Awareness
14th May to 20th May 2018
We actively shared posts to help raise the profile of Mental Health Awareness Week; which this year focused on stress in the workplace.
The Big Bake
17th May 2018
The team at NPH raised £72.17 by partaking in The Big Bake, inspired by the Royal Wedding. With all donations going to St Oswald’s Hospice.
GDPR
25th May 2018
GDPR came into effect – NPH have been working to build on its current information governance framework to ensure compliance.
Private GP Appointments
Do you find it hard to get an appointment with your GP? We provide fast and convenient access to an affordable private GP service. With 20 and 30-minute appointments available; you will have sufficient time to discuss your needs or health concerns with a Doctor.
Project Shuffle
Following in the footsteps of Google, we have launched Project Shuffle which will give our Clinicians and Support Team the opportunity to shadow and understand other roles within the company. The programme is designed to so that employees will gain an understanding of roles and will show empathy towards each other when faced with challenges.
The programme launched early in May with Amy Harrison, Team Leader, developing her skills as an Occupational Health Technician. Jade Needham, Business Support Administrator, is also part of the programme and has been learning the ropes with Julie Gibson, Finance Manager.
Luxira Aesthetics

7 Miles, 7 Days in a Row
Lloyd van Konijnenburg & Mark Philpott will be running 7 miles, 7 days in a row to support and raise money for the If U Care Share Foundation.
Starting on Sunday the 10th June, they will be running their first 7 miles – anybody and everybody is welcome to join them at any point and all donations are greatly appreciated.
Total Goals in Word Cup
To celebrate the 2018 FIFA World Cup, we are offering everyone the chance to win a Hamper full of treats. To enter, simply follow the link below and submit your details along with the total amount of goals that you think will be scored in Russia as part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Entry is FREE, so feel free to share this link with family and friends, and the winner will be invited to collect the Hamper from our Regent Centre clinic.
